Wrong Holiday

This outfit was a gift from my Aunt Barbara and Uncle Andre. They were here this summer when Anthony was only three weeks old and was baptized. It's size 6-12 months, but it's never going to fit him in March, and Mike put him in it this morning, so we figured we'd get a picture. It came with mittens, too, but he wanted no part of that. This outfit is not, as I originally stated, from my mom's friend Emily. Emily gave him a short sleeved onesie that has shamrocks on it, too. I knew this was from my Aunt Barbara, my only excuse is that I was severely sleep deprived when she and my Uncle were here and now I'm ... well I'm still sleep deprived but it's not as severe. In any case, thanks to my Aunt Barbara for this adorable outfit!

Saturday

Today we went to the mall to get some books. I got this, and Mike got this and this . We took this picture on the way home, Anthony was in his jogging stroller and in the shade. His Grandmother Ruth is coming over today and his cousin Hillary. Mike and I are going to see Capote and then going out for a beer, so it's all excitement around here today!!

20 Weeks

He is really sitting up well in this seat, all of a sudden. We went to see Mike at his office today, it was his second trip there, it went well.

Resignation

This morning after his nap, we walked to the grocery store. He did really well!

Monday

I took this before we went over to my friend Pam's house and went for a walk in Garfield Park. We walked for about an hour, he did really well. He's napping now, all that fresh air wiped him out. Thank God.

Here he is before he took a nap and went for a walk with Mike. It's colder out today but he did okay.

Mike and I bought these letters the other day at Babies R Us. When we saw what they cost, we figured we should have named him something shorter. Like "A". Anyway, Mike put them up above his closet.

A word about my friend Kathy

A few weeks ago marked the first anniversary of my friend Kathy Murray's death. I've been thinking of her so often lately, because of that and also because Anthony and Kathy are often linked in my mind. I went home to NJ for her funeral and found out I was pregnant with Anthony in the same week. If we had had a girl, we would have named her Maria Kathleen, in rememberance of my friend Kathy. She was a beautiful girl and my sister and I loved her so. The picture is from our senior prom, about one million years ago. We miss her a lot and I think of her a few times a day here lately. So I wanted to post a picture and ask that if you read this, you send up a prayer for her.

Because they're terrible, horrible, rotten people. OK that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but we did get our CD tonight (Monday) after we took it to there ONE HOUR PHOTO on Saturday. THREE days ago. CORD CAMERA. DON'T GO!

This is the cutest outfit, it has bumps on it like he's a dragon. It's from my brother Larry and his wife Christy. And it's 9 months and it barely fits him. Crazy.

Yell, Scream, Go Horse! I think this outfit is from Mike's cousin Kenny and his wife Vicky. I think. We have another cute 12 month size Colts outfit that might be from them. I definitely should have written on the tags! Either way, this is so cute, it has a cute horseshoe on the butt.

Big Boy

These are cargo pants and a tshirt from my friends Greg & Chrissy. He looks like a big boy in them. A big boy in a bassinette, that is.

Hair

Look at his hair. It's coming in really blonde, underneath the darker hair that sticks up. It's hysterical. Mike is always trying to squoosh it down but he ends up looking like a real Poindexter that way. I prefer the Flock of Seagulls look he has going on here.

I look horrible in this picture, but it so clearly represents how Anthony and I spend a lot of our days. Me, trying to get him to do something that he has no intention of doing, and him barely putting up with me.

before we went to the doctor. I am happy to report that he is doing very well after getting FOUR needles in the thigh! We are so happy, it was horrible last time. He weighs 17 pounds, 4 oz., is 28 inches long and his head circumference (for those counting) is 44 centimeters. And we don't have to go back for two months!

I took this yesterday, Laura is home from Italy and brought me the camera back. Tomorrow I'm hoping to get the pictures from last week on CD, and then I'll post away from last week.

Explanation

I haven't posted any pictures this week because we loaned our camcorder/digital camera to my Dad and Sister, who are in Italy. I bought a throw away digital camera, though, and am taking pictures daily so after I get the cd back I'll post away! Patience!
